NEW SEASON AND NEW COACHES
The new season kick-off September 7th HOME against Chard in the EDF Senior Vase and the following week our league campaign starts away against Wells.
This season the Club welcomes back former player Tony Hall and Andy Crocker as the new coaching partnership for the coming season. Lets support the new coaches by attending training Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Quins have drawn Yatton RFC in the first round of the Bristol Combination Cup, plus will also travel down to Yeovil to play Ivel Barbarians in the Blackthorn Somerset Cup.

First Flood Light Game At Valhalla
Tuesday 8th January Bristol Harlequins will be opening their new lights, with a Select Bristol Harlequins XV v Bristol Combination XV. Kick off is at 19:30. It would be good to see all club members there! Just to be there!
New Coach and Physio
Bristol Harlequins have appointed Matt Skuse as coach, Matt will take sessions on Thursday evening. Lets support Ross, Matt and the club by training on thursday.
We have also appointed a club physio who will be available for treatment on Thursday evenings.

Next Wednesday 27th August, is an home evening trails game against Whitehall RFC, Kick-off is at 7pm.
Bristol Harlequins v Corsham - TRAILS GAME
Saturday 30th August is our annual trails game against Corsham RFC which this year is at our place and Kick-off will be about 14:30 - 15:00.
Yatton v Bristol Harlequins COMB. CUP
We will be playing Yatton RFC in the Combination Cup on either Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd September with an evening Kick-off at about 7pm.

Somerset Cup 3rd/4th Play-off
This Saturday 28th April Bristol Harlequins RFC will play Keynsham RFC in the Somerset 3rd/4th Play-off at Bristol Barbarians RFC. The winners will be entered into the EDF National Trophy next season.
AGM and Annual Dinner Evening
This season Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening is on Friday 11th May. Tickets will soon be available from the captains.

Investec Challenge Matches- November 2006
We have been allocated tickets for England v New Zealand on 5 November 2006, England v South Africa on 18 November 2006 and England v South Africa (again) on 25 November 2006. Tickets prices range from £65.00 to £45.00. We have to submit the ticket application by 30 June 2006 so if anyone is interest they should contact Ian Nunnerley ASAP.

TRAINING INCENTIVE MATCH SUB
Therefore the club is going to trial for a month a TRAINING INCENTIVE MATCH SUB. If a player trains in the week then they will save £2 on Match Subs.
Please note that this is only a Month trial and will be evaluated and discussed at the next monthly meeting.
TRAINING NIGHT: At the moment until numbers improve at training, training will only be one night a week and that will be THURSDAY NIGHTS.

Saturday 23rd July at the club is the C.F.C.F (Caring For Cystic Fibrosis) Family Fun Day and Race Night.
The event starts with a SOCBY Challenge Match:
MAN IN SPACE VERTERANS v CFCF YOUNG GUNS
Kick-off is at 14:00 and players to be at the club from 13:00.
There will be an all day BBQ and a Race night follows the SOCBY Challenge Match.

Somerset Cup News!!!
Whoever wins on Saturday, will then travel to North Petherton the next day (Sunday 16th January) to play the 4th Round Cup tie.
4th Team Back!!!
If numbers are good next week then the 4th team will face Imperial III at Home for the rematch.
